| Sublimation ("Revolt") - This work portrays the exploitation of the black or negro slave and their rebellion brought about by the mistreatment that they were submitted to. This work portrays the dances, rhythms, and songs of gaga, congo , vodu, and others.
Tumba Francesca - Tumba Francesa reflects the imitation of the Franco-Haitian ruling class "society dances" by their slaves. This piece also showcases a variety of rhythms and dances such as mason, yuba, and frente.
Papa Guede - Papa Guede is the Loa who personifies sexuality and death. His costume and characterizations evoke an image of death or a cadaver. He is also the bridge between life and death.
Caribbean Dance - In this piece, various Caribbean dances are depicted, such as the limbo, sack dances, stilt dancing, and "sarandas", a type of dexterity dance in which the dancer balances on two poles manipulated horizontally by two other dancers.
Babalu - This is an offering to the god of health, expressed choreographically via bembe oriental. The distinctive Oriente evocation of Babalu Aye is portrayed here.
Moremi - "Moremi " reflects the vengeance carried out by the two brothers of a beautiful black woman who was raped by the cruelest landowner of the time.
El Traidor del Hunfo - In this piece, an elder "hunfo" finds a certain amount of money which he then gives to a black slave so that he can study. The youth betrays this trust and returns with ideas which are not what his brothers/peers expected.
Tambor Sagrado - A sacred drum disappears - - stolen by a young black man motivated by his grand passion for music. A punishment is prepared for him, but ultimately he is forgiven after he admits his guilt.
Comparsas - The Carnaval traditions of Oriente province are showcased with "Chancleta" dances, farolas ("whimsical lanterns"), the shouts of street vendors, etc.
Rumba - This is the apex of popular Cuban dance, featuring the dances, rhythms and songs of Yambu, Guaguanco, and Columbia .
Bailes Populares - A rousing demonstration of the popular Cuban dance traditions, featuring the rhythms, songs, and dances of son, cha cha cha, mambo, pilon, mosambique, and many more.
