.............The individual members of the Company all began their dance and musical educations at a very young age in the various national Escuelas de Arte. As a whole, they possess a vast amount of experience garnered from participation in various national and international festivals such as, the Guemilere Festival (Guanabacoa, Cuba), the International Folkloric Dance Festival in Villa Clara, Holguin, Camaguey, etc., the International Pyrennes Festival in France, Belgium, and Spain. All of this accumulated experience has earned the 7 Potencias accolades in the form of many prizes at festivals in which the members have participated, as well as placing 7 Potencias in the position of being currently recognized as one of the best folkloric groups in Cuba. |
